Endeavour Going Green

Here at Endeavour Coaches we are dedicated to doing our part to prevent climate change, and improve air quality within the local area.  Over 1000 deaths per year in Birmingham are caused by air pollution. We are doing our part to try to reduce this by investing wherever possible in Euro VI vehicles, along with converting some of our vehicles from Euro V to Euro V1.  While this is of course at an expense to us we feel it is our duty as a passenger tranport provider to do our part to prevent climate change.  We provide a large number of Home to School transport, this takes a large number of vehicles off the road and reduces pollution levels around those schools. According to the Department of Transport and their Energy & Environment Statistics, cars and taxis emit 69.7 million tonnes of CO2, that’s 18% of all domestic emissions. Whereas, coaches emit 3.4 million tonnes of CO2, a mere 1% of all domestic emissions.   Our Coaches can carry up to 70 passengers, with an average car carrying a maximium of 5 passengers that is 1 coach on the road compared to 14 cars!
